"Frozen" The Musical
I went to see the "Frozen" musical 🇺🇸
Christmas in Japan is different from Poland. A popular way to spend this time is a dinner with relatives in a restaurant or a meal at home, consisting of roast chicken. Chicken at KFC during this time lay the proverbial golden eggs. Together with my family, in addition to continuing this tradition, this year we also managed to book tickets for the musical "Frozen". It was not an easy task as Coronavirus is doing all it can to make such plans possible. The musical is based on the first part of the Disney hit movie. It lasts two hours with a break in the middle. I must admit that I was very positively surprised. Knowing the movie, you know that there are quite interesting scenes when Elsa defends herself using magic and I thought that giving it a more real-life form was rather unlikely to get attention, or at most, I expected that the final effect would look rather mediocre. I was wrong! Imagine my surprise when I saw it on stage. All decorations, smooth transitions between acts, and visual effects made an electrifying impression on me. A great work of lights, beautiful costumes, and projection mapping, topped with well-known music (in Japanese) left a lasting impression. The main song, "Let It Go" ("Ari no mama no" in Japanese) and the ice castle scene is very challenging in my opinion. This song is one of the reasons why millions of people love this character and the movie. The actress who played Elsa did stunning. But personally, I think I liked the creation of Anna the most. Kristoffer and Olaf also made me smile many times. We spent a wonderful family afternoon, and after returning home, we hummed the songs of "Frozen" over and over again. We are planning to go to other musicals of this group because they are crazy talented. |
Same "Let It Go" (po japońsku "Ari no mama no") i scena w lodowym zamku były moim zdaniem bardzo wymagające. |
